Discover our wooden line poles
Our wooden line poles are designed to withstand the harshest weather conditions and support heavy loads. Made from fir, spruce, Douglas fir, and pine—species renowned for their mechanical strength—our poles are treated to ensure durability while maintaining an attractive aesthetic. The most commonly used lengths in the telecommunications sector range from 6.25 m to 10 m, but we also offer lengths from 8 m to 15 m, along with various strength classes to meet all requirements.

Treatments and wood species
The treatment process for wooden poles follows a rigorous protocol. It begins with perforation (for better impregnation in risk zones), performed before drying to prepare the wood. Next, the poles are placed in dryers, a crucial step to reduce their moisture content and minimize the risk of deformation. Simultaneously, a thermal treatment is applied.
To ensure optimal protection against biological attacks and demanding weather conditions, we carry out a Class 4 autoclave treatment (perforation zone) under vacuum. This treatment provides maximum defense against moisture, fungi, and insects while offering an attractive finish: green by default or brown upon request.

Technical specifications
Our wooden line poles are manufactured in compliance with the NF EN 14229 standard, ensuring high levels of quality and safety. Each pole undergoes mechanical planning and specific perforation tailored to species such as fir and spruce. This perforation system optimizes the penetration of treatment agents. Additionally, our rigorous factory production control, certified under conformity number 0380 – CPR – 5803, ensures that every pole meets the strictest quality requirements.

FAQ: We Illuminate your questions
Wooden poles offer an eco-friendly and flexible solution while providing excellent mechanical strength and long-lasting durability. Unlike metal or concrete, wood is naturally an excellent electrical insulator. At higher altitudes, wood is particularly recommended due to its ability to absorb shock waves caused by extreme weather conditions, making it ideal for such demanding environments.
Our wooden poles, available in lengths ranging from 5.50 to 8 meters with a diameter of 1 meter at the base varying depending on the class, are suitable for a wide range of projects. Prices range from €35 excluding VAT to €115 excluding VAT per unit, departing from the factory, providing excellent value for money.
Additionally, delivery is available, allowing you to receive your poles directly at your site as needed
The types of wood we prioritize for our pole production are primarily conifers such as fir, spruce, and Douglas fir due to their excellent technical and mechanical properties. We particularly select wood from high-altitude regions, known for its robustness and resistance to harsh weather conditions, ensuring a longer lifespan for our poles.
It’s worth noting that the only wood species we do not use is Weymouth pine, as its characteristics do not meet our performance and durability requirements.
Wooden poles typically have an average service life of 40 to 50 years, providing optimal performance during this period. We also guarantee a performance of 10 years, based on the usage conditions specified in our recommendations.
